Families with children aged three to four are invited to enjoy a new series of free Stay and Play sessions at The Lantern, Shrewsbury's new Best Start Family Hub.
Running every Tuesday from 15th September to 13th October, the weekly sessions offer parents and carers the chance to enjoy fun activities with their children while discovering how everyday interactions can support their learning and development.
Families can take part in play activities, songs and stories, while learning how simple things such as chatting, singing, reading and playing together can make a positive difference to a child's development.
The sessions will also provide plenty of ideas for activities that families can continue at home, helping parents and carers support their child's learning through everyday routines and play.
As well as being educational, Stay and Play is a great opportunity to meet other local parents and carers, share experiences and spend quality time together in a friendly and welcoming environment.
The sessions are free to attend and are designed for parents and carers accompanied by children aged three to four.
