🎅📖 Looking for Father Christmas events in Shrewsbury? Families are invited to join Santa for a special storytelling experience at Shrewsbury Museum & Art Gallery on Saturday 21st November 2026.
This festive event offers younger children the chance to spend time with Father Christmas, listen to a charming story set in their hometown and receive a special Christmas present.
Father Christmas will be reading The Shrewsbury Fox's Great Adventure, a delightful tale following Furlin Fox as he sets off to discover the beautiful sights of Shrewsbury alongside his friends Owl and Hedgehog.
Children and their families will gather together for a shared storytelling experience, bringing a little Christmas magic to the museum while celebrating the town's familiar landmarks.
Each session lasts approximately 20 minutes, making it an enjoyable festive activity for younger children.
Tickets cost £12 per child, which includes the storytelling experience and a special Christmas gift. One accompanying adult can attend free of charge.
Advance booking is essential, with tickets available through Shrewsbury Museum & Art Gallery.
Families visiting on the day can also explore the DRAWN Contemporary Art, Makers & Design Fair, which takes place at the museum on the same date. The fair brings together independent artists and makers showcasing original artwork, jewellery, ceramics, textiles and handmade gifts.
