I came across Howdens through a Facebook group to insure my first camper van.
I called and spoke to a lady called Fiona D(yke). Fiona was amazing, asked me loads of questions about the van which no other companies hadnt so I felt comfortable I was properly insured for the modifications I'd made.
I spoke with Fiona a few times, despite being slightly more expensive than one other company I went with Howdens sold mostly on how helpful, knowledgeable, friendly and positive Fiona had been throughout.

I outlined my need for building & contents insurance. The interview was thorough, detailed and courteous! I could not have input the same amount of information using an online system. I found that talking to a knowledgeable person face to face was so much more reassuring! I received a comprehensive, competitive quote which was just what I had hoped for! A great company to work with.
