I like to use A Plan for my insurance when possible as I prefer having a broker to interact with. However, I do visit comparison sites at renewal time to ensure that I know where the market is. This year, and most others, A Plan were able to come very close to the best price online so again they have my business.

I was told about this company by the garage I bought my car from. Rang them up and as I was already insured with another company. The lady I spoke to advised me to wait till the end of my present insurance and that she would contact me when my renewal is due. It was only a couple of months. She rang me got a quote and helped me decide so I got the best deal. Katie was so helpful and efficient. With in a couple of days all paperwork was sent and I’m very happy with the deal I got. Renewed my car insurance for the 3rd time through A-Plan. Always so competitive there's no point looking around elsewhere! None of this cheap one year, triple the price next year nonsense!
