the car insurance renewal was handled very professionally, in a friendly and courteous manner. The documents appeared correctly and promptly in the portal. However, in the next few days we received 3 or 4 intrusive phone calls asking us to consider other kinds of insurance which we had already told them we did not require in the original call. On each occasion there seemed to be no record of the previous conversations. We became very irritated and had to insist they amend their records and did not call again - this was disappointing.

I have been with A-Plan Insurance Brokers St Albans since I first used them at the age of 21 and now I am nearly 74 I think I came make a useful few comments.
I have just renewed my car insurance with them but like all insurers the idea of rewarding the customer for loyalty seems to be waning somewhat. I can go to the online services of companies like Consumer.com and get hefty savings that A-Plan will endeavour to try and meet, but that leaves the onus on me to do the looking which if I was not Computer literate as some OAP's are not then they would be stung by the initial quotes given which I do not consider fare. Reward loyalty better!
