When you phone up Howdens you get to speak to a real human being who deals with your query. A novelty in these times, which is why they now deal with all of my insurance.

Kirk was not phased. We visited one day & returned another. He remembered us, and the details of our issue. Not only did he sort a policy for us but it ended up costing *much* less than expected.

This team was amazing. Friendly, efficient, knowledgeable, adaptive. Got a better than expected quote which also included an expansion of services due under the policy. Their engagement with me / service offering made me realise what I was not getting under existing insurance policy. Can't fault Howdens. Jack and Ashley were superb. They both get a 12 out of 10 from me. This is submitted for Jack but needs to also be submitted for Ashley (as she set up the initial quote). Both were amazing! 🎯🎯🎯🎯🎯🎯🎯

The personal touch when you phone any of their branches is truly superb. Their fleet of brokers are helpful in navigating to a reasonable deal. However, it is a game of two halves and the other half sucks. I’m talking about the document vault online. If you have just one car, no problems. However, I have a number of collectors cars and trying to navigate the mess of documents, proposals, quotes etc is a nightmare. Where a sensible person would file by the car registration number, Howden file by document title and this can vary year by year and is all over the place. Be prepared to be swamped. For example I had an Askmid letter through the other day to say two of my cars were uninsured!!! It took me a good hour in the vault to find documents about those cars and confirm that indeed the insurance had lapsed! Not impressed.

Very easy car insurance renewal by phone with Laurie today, who took me through the details clearly, it was a very enjoyable conversation and the cost was a bit cheaper than last year. Much easier than slogging through online questions.
