Have used the Bromley branch for many years. I like to speak to a ‘person’ and usually it is the same member of staff that I have dealt with in the past. They listen to my requirements and I listen to their expertise. Also I know that should I need to claim they will be there for me. They are very competitive with their pricing.

Personal service. They notified me in good time about the renewal of my insurance. Gave me options and prices on the phone. Reminded me politely by phone when I'd been really busy and had forgotten to pay. It's so nice to deal with real people in this day and age of official emails and impersonal machine-generated whatsapp messages.

Helpful, friendly and informative. Plenty of notice always given relating to expiry of policies. My two cars, motorcycle and house (together with its contents) are insured via Howden. This indicates my complete satisfaction of the company.

I can’t understand stand why i pay 3x times the amount for home insurance, he lives in a more expensive area has a bigger simi detached house ( so risk damaging both properties,
I live i a small detached property in a less a affluent area, so only a fire risk to my property.

Howden take much of the hassle out of insuring my car. They provide timely reminders before renewal time, and the staff are always friendly and helpful. Although the cost this year has risen by 30% compared to last year, prices were still comparable to or marginally better than those I saw elsewhere. And having someone to deal with claims on one's behalf is a definite plus.
