I've arranged my car insurance through A-Plan for several years now. Really friendly team in Epsom to speak to on the phone. Not always the very lowest price. But always good excess and level of coverage included. I prefer dealing with people than ticking boxes online and not being 100% sure everything is covered.

The consultant listened to my request, was helpful and cheery. They offered me the best option to take with the best deal for me, and insured my imported car when every other insurance company wouldn't. Friendly helpful staff, although as a regular customer renewing my policy I found the 30 minute plus phone call a bit patronising to be honest, script phrases necessary but maybe not so many especially when you renew every year and have been driving over 40years.
