The new Mayor and Consort of Whitworth, Councillor Karen Ruane and her husband Peter, landed lucky on 9 June and were blessed with beautiful sunshine for the Civic Sunday procession and service.
The entry date for this year's Scarecrow Festival is fast approaching, as applicants have until this Friday to get forms returned.
