Great hotel, stayed 4 nights, very friendly, professional and attentive staff, served in the bar / restaurant a couple of nights by Dyan, who advised on best food choices and ensured my meals and drinks were promptly delivered. Excellent service.

I’ve stayed at the Holiday Inn Preston for nearly 30 days this year and wanted to share my experience.

The hotel is conveniently located in the heart of Preston, with plenty of comfortable, well-equipped rooms that meet all the needs of a traveler.

The restaurant offers a wide variety of dishes, with weekly specials that keep the menu interesting. The service is excellent – Dyan and the rest of the team always go above and beyond to make sure guests feel welcome and enjoy their meals.

Overall, I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Preston, whether for business or leisure.

I would easily stay here again whenever I’m in Preston.

Wonderful welcome by Bhupinder at Reception. Lovely clean room, spacious bathroom and comfortable bed. Pleasant atmosphere, nice lounge and bar. Delicious breakfast with friendly staff, special thanks to both Tess and Sean - great service, friendly and helpful. Will now be our hotel of choice when visiting Preston and surrounding area.

I booked this hotel as I need to be near my daughter settling her into student accommodation.
I had done two separate bookings to add a day on.

Check in was quick and easy, the staff were very welcoming. The room was on the 6th floor, clean and had everything I needed. Tv channels choice was a lot better than other holiday inns which was great when I finally got a time to rest.

The breakfast staff were very friendly and welcoming. The lady on the front was very kind when I was talking her my hands had swollen and I couldn’t get my rings off. She came to help. Breakfast was a great selection of hot and cold dishes.

It’s about a ten minute walk to the train station and it’s around £8 in a black cab from the station.

Lots of shops and restaurants near by.

All staff were lovely

I’d like to Thank Ricesh for his outstanding Meet and Greet at the reception. He was very friendly and we had such a smooth check in. Seen as we was walk ins. The rooms was clean and very well preventable. The breakfast on the other hand was not to my standards. The mushrooms was cold and the scrambled egg was crusty. And the fried eggs was Hard, The presentation was very good but the food was lukewarm.

The best, most helpful staff!
We stayed there last night, arrived really late as it was a quick stop on our way to Scotland.
We had a lot of really heavy work equipment and Mohammed helped us unload the car and took our luggage to our room. Totally didn’t expect such a great friendly and helpful staff.
Joseph was super welcoming, and just great!
We also had been greeted with the biggest smile by Loraine despite a super early morning.
Absolutely loved it.

Had a lovely stay here very kind and welcoming staff particularly Lorianne at breakfast - she has a contagious laugh with a great sense of humour made breakfast very enjoyable. Personally the bacon needs to be more well done but apart from that no issues would stay here again :)

On the edge of Preston town centre next to the bus station, this Holiday Inn is quite good. Good clean rooms, recently refurbished. Decent beds. Recommend trying to get a room on the 4th floor or higher for less street noise. Downside is that whilst food is good, the dining and breakfast are expensive. Suggest eating out if possible.

I would have expected better from Holiday Inn. Requested a double room, got given twin room, asked them to look at the shower as it doesn’t quite fit and it’s leaking and no engineer called. Regulator on the tap is broke. Carpet is bogging! Quite shoddy.

Nice stay, we were here on August 26th for one night.
Spacious room, clean, good bathroom, tub, and shower.
Beds and pillows very comfortable, TV with lots of channels, only downside was no in-room fridge.
Quiet area near city center, lots of parking across the lane at the bus station for £7 for 24 hours.
Recommended if you're staying in Preston.

Stayed at the Holiday Inn in Preston and had a lovely time. Staff were really friendly and helpful from the moment I arrived. My room was spotless, very comfortable, and I slept well.

We ate a lovely meal at the restaurant during our stay. Breakfast was great too, plenty of choice, and I liked that you could have it brought to the room for just a couple of pounds more. Would definitely stay again when I’m in the area.

I stayed here for 4 nights. I was booked a double room and when I arrived they gave me a twin room. I hate single beds, haven't slept in one for years. There was a problem with my shower head as it kept dropping out of the holder and spraying from the sides of the head. The regulator tap safety tab was missing, so I asked for them to have a look, but no one came. I enquired on two different days and they couldn't explain why the maintenance didn't turn up.

I was cold one evening, so try setting the aircon to heat and I waited ages for it to warm up, but it didn't, only to be told that it couldn't be done and that I would need a heater.

The carpet is grubby, in fact quite stained, and not nice to walk on. Glad I brought my slippers.

Staff were very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was decent. The lady that greeted me at breakfast is lovely!

Parking can be a nightmare, we were worried to take the car out at night just incase we lost our space.
