I had an excellent stay here, the staff were really friendly, nothing was too much trouble and the bedroom was immaculate. The breakfast buffet, although somewhat on the pricey side, was unlimited and delicious. The hotel is situated right next to the bus station which is great if you want to catch a bus towards Merseyside, Blackburn or Cumbria.

This hotel is 15 minutes walk from the station. Although perfectly adequate there was a feeling that it had seem better days. The rooms are small but fine for an overnight stay. Staff are very friendly and helpful.

Cheap and fairly central to town, bar and restaurant are pretty good but staff and service excellent. Lots of banging and building work going on Nov 2016 which would have been nice to know prior to booking.

Clean and tidy hotel. Simply but nicely furnished, with very good facilities. The staff were helpful and polite. The room was spacious and clean with an excellent bathroom, but it smelt like an ashtray. Good air conditioning. Ideal for an overnight stay.
