The Museum of Oxford celebrates it's 40th anniversary this year and to mark the occasion it would like to display 40 objects, stories, photos etc. that relate to Oxford and the last 40 years. If you have something you'd like to share, do come along and show us!

Salters Steamers operate an Oxford to Abingdon scheduled boat service 7 days a week between 23rd May and 13th September (weather permitting). Starting opposite Christchurch Meadows and finishing in the market town of Abingdon this is one of the most picturesque journeys in Oxfordshire.

Oxford City has 2 main areas where regular markets are held. Firstly there is the permanent market in the very centre of town - Oxford Covered Market and secondly nearby Gloucester Green hosts 3 days of differently themed markets each week. Additionally there are several localised out-of-town weekly farmers' markets.
