A Valentine Feast of Love

Coming in the tail end of winter, and what a miserable tail end it has been, Valentine’s Day (and night) is a welcome glowing beacon of love and warmth. Amidst the cards, balloons and bouquets, here are a few ways to make it extra special in and around the Oswestry area.

John Quinn has a lovely idea for Valentine’s, a photo portrait, beautifully shot by him, as a permanent reminder of your sweetheart.

KMK Jewellery of Oswestry have a stunning collection of rings and pendants, beautifully designed and crafted by the talented Ken Kapal and will create a unique work to your specifications.

Woo your love with words of love – and if you need help, Booka Bookshop have a host of love poetry to help you.

Both The Wynnstay Hotel and the Lion Quays have extended Valentines Menus from February 8th to February 17th and of course have a range of special weekend offers from Pamper Days to Spa Breaks.

If roaring log fires, good food and a deliciously relaxed atmosphere is what you seek, Valentines at The Walls in Oswestry is a sure to be a winner. Or if you really want to pull out all the stops, then it has to be The West Arms Hotel, a beautiful venue, in a beautiful village, (speaking from experience – it’s where we got married!)

Have a lovely Valentine’s Day!
