The BIG Local Initiative in Gobowen, St Martins and Weston Rhyn has been successful in securing a £20,000 fund as part of their Round 2 funding.
The money will pay for a project co-ordinator, new website and the development of a Youth Forum and Business Forum for this community. Closing date is 22 June 2012 and the post is for 15 hours a week.
The BIG Local investment for this community totals £1 million over the next ten years and this latest bid sees the project moving forward from ideas generated by people from the local community who were keen to be involved.

BIG Local is an independent trust established by BIG Lottery to support local funding schemes in targeted urban and rural neighbourhoods. The aim of BIG Local is to enable people to make their communities better places to live now and in the future.
