OSYTEERS ARE A NEW and growing group of Oswestry Volunteers that have 5 simple aims:

  • Community – to promote a positive community spirit and good citizenship
  • Networking – to “network” with other organisations and charities locally to ensure that “service users” are pointed to those charities if appropriate and to work with local businesses to release staff for community work with Osyteers.
  • Individual – to support vulnerable members of our community, with an emphasis on those not provisioned for by existing organisations.
  • Environment – to improve our environment and take on various projects
  • Social – social outlet for the volunteers.

More information about our charity can be found on www.osyteers.co.uk

Notice that the Networking aim has a component “to work with local businesses to release staff for community work with Osyteers”.
