Local law firm Lanyon Bowdler, which merged with long-established LG Solicitors in May 2010, is now taking steps to centralise its Oswestry based residential and commercial property teams.

The offices at 35 Church Street will be vacated towards the end of August, when all staff will join their colleagues at 39  - 41 Church Street.  Telephone numbers and personnel will remain unchanged.

Partner Emma Wilde commented “We have taken the decision to close the office at 35 Church Street for a variety of reasons, but primarily because we recognise the need to have our teams working together.  Having everyone under one roof will allow us to offer a more efficient service to clients and provide better support to our colleagues.”  She went on to say “The closure of 35 Church Street will not affect our relationships with the estate agents, lenders and brokers with whom we work closely.”

Lanyon Bowdler is delighted to have recently retained Gold Standard of the Green Achiever Scheme.  As part of the firm’s environmental initiatives, it considers it important to look at ways to minimise the firm’s carbon footprint, and making the most efficient use of its office space is a factor in this.
