For kids of all ages, there is the May Madness at Park Hall Farm Experience or you can go to the other extreme and take the family on a fantastic walk as part of the Trefonen Hill Walking Festival

For the green and natural folk among you, Whittington Castle has a Green Fair on the Bank Holiday Monday, with everything from learning how to save our bumble bees, to coracling on the moat.  Plant finders should make a beeline there for insect attracting garden plants.

Booka Bookshop plays host to three of the present day stars in the firmament of authentic historical fiction,  M.C. SCOTT, BEN KANE & JAMES AITCHESON on Thursday evening.

Once again, London comes to Oswestry in the National Theatre performance of This House, James Graham’s caustic  play charting the political cannibalism that was the Houses of Parliament in 1974 – a hung Parliament, political bitchery and infighting – plus ca change...

And not forgetting – and how could we,  the experience that is  OSFEST, getting bigger and better each year – a fantastic chance to let your hair down (while you’ve still got it) see great acts and hear great music – this year under cover – no glasto mud here!
