Oswestria - land of the beautiful individual

New amazing shops opening, new coffee and tea houses, new opportunities to discover.  Oswestry is on the up and up and (as we never, ever, tire of pointing out) doing it independent stylie.

Beatrice Street is becoming one of my favourite haunts – there is just so much going on, such vibrancy and I love how it is redefining itself as THE eclectic, individual and stylish area of town.

Saturday 12th sees a special celebration at the new and bigger premises of Beadazzled on Beatrice Street,  with 10% off all their gorgeous beads and crystals and, from 4:00pm to 6:00pm, a celebratory glass of fizz and thai canapés to wish them good luck.

Across the way, a new tearoom springs ups – “Fine and Dandy” specialist tea purveyors, opens up in a space that seemed waiting for it.

Material Therapy goes  from strength to strength with its vintage and preloved fabrics, skilled craftswomen and being the number one spot for openhouse evening textile workshops, while its sister shop  ‘Established’ is crammed full of vintage furniture and wall art, with a truly nifty retro menswear nook upstairs.

And, as always, Sissy Blu is quietly and blissfully wonderful with its hand picked spring/summer range of clothing.

Charmed to my boots by Oswestry and the Welsh Marches. I happily do my best to support the fantastic independent shops and businesses in the area through The Best of Oswestry.
