P/T Community Grower - The Garth Hillside Organic Garden, Gardd Natur y Garth, N.Wales borders.

TGHOG is a 1/2 acre Permaculture, Community food, Education and Outreach project situated on a south-east facing aspect in the beautiful Ceiriog Valley. Other activities at the garden include coppiceing, scything, rainwater harvesting, low impact building, natural beekeeping and conservation.

This is a unique opportunity for a responsible and motivated individual who is committed to sustainable food production.

We are looking for a person with good practical/observation skills, communication and growing experience.

A deep respect for the earth and the species living on site is essential.

We are funded by Environment Wales currently.

Salary; £130 a week

Hours; 10-20hrs/ £6.50/£12.00 (depending on experience)

There is no accommodation with the job, but help would be given to find something local. Other separate work may be available.
