We know that Dads never really grow up, so leading Shropshire farm attraction, Park Hall Countryside Experience, has decided to provide Dads with an alternative Father’s Day experience – a 70’s Space Hopper Race.
The Space Hopper Craze started in the early seventies, so to celebrate its introduction as a new feature at the farm; the first inaugural Space Hopper Race is the Father’s Day Race on 17th June at 2.45pm.
Dads and Grandads are invited to dress up in seventies gear and compete in a zany Space Hopper Bounce. With prizes for the fastest hoppin’ Dad (or Grandad) and a special prize for the best seventies fancy dress, this event promises to be a ‘funky’ experience.
Do you remember what passed for fashion in the seventies? Grandad might have something stashed away at the bottom of his wardrobe: a tank top, a tie-dyed shirt or his favourite flared jeans, if you’re lucky you might find a pair of platform soled shoes.
