Young footballers from Oswestry and the Welsh borders had an egg-celent time this Easter at The New Saints Soccer School, held at The Venue, Park Hall.
The school which ran for three days over the Easter holidays attracted 60 young football enthusiasts who enjoyed five-a-side matches, penalty competitions and skills practice.
Head of youth development, Scott Ruscoe says: “ The boys thoroughly enjoyed their days with us and have picked up plenty of new skills. It has also given us the opportunity to spot some real local talent amongst players who we look forward to working with in the future.”
The success of The New Saints Easter Soccer School has prompted organisers to start planning for a summer school.
