If you suffer from low mood,  anxiety or mild to moderate depression, and seek a non-chemical program to help you, then this might be the course for you.

The Garth Hillside Organic Garden, in the stunning Ceiriog Valley, is offering 12 week course, starting on Monday 4th March 2013.

Run by people who have themselves experienced low mood, and supported by professionals, the course involves some gentle gardening, preparation of a shared lunch with organically grown garden produce, mindfulness exercises and wellbeing action planning.

The course is free, except for a small lunch contribution.

The project is funded by Health Diverse, with monies raised through the National Lottery for the first trial year.

For more information about the course, and location, please contact the Project Lead, Jenny Naylor, on 07946 596092, or email her at garthorganic@gmail.com.

The Garth Hillside Organic Garden is a community garden using organic and permaculture principles, set on a hillside above the village of Glyn Ceiriog.   It is an extraordinarily beautiful and productive garden set amidst the gorse, with raised beds, wildflowers, a young forest garden and bee hives.
