Eureka Moment
Free Business Reviews, Revenue Grants £2k-£10k 

Free business briefings and consultancy for businesses looking at innovative solutions including implementing new processes, products or entering new markets. Free consultancy support is available from project partners and the opportunity to apply for revenue grants from £2,000 to £10,000 to implement identified actions. Apprenticeships
£1,500 payments + Training costs 

Government covers 100 % of training costs for 16-18 year olds and 50% of training costs for 18-24year olds. In addition the business receives a £1,500 payment as an incentive to take on an apprentice.

Business start-up courses – the “Start Up- Shape-Up” programme available to individuals and businesses in Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin and Herefordshire to help them during the early stages of their business.

The project will be delivering a programme of events, workshops and one-to-one support and advice. Metnet – Marches Environmental Technology Network Revenue Grants £1,000 

Revenue grants of £1,000 match funded towards activity that will improve the business. Available to small to medium sized environmental businesses based in Shropshire.

For 50+ year olds, 3 days training on self-employment and running your own business.

Business Innovation Programme (BIP) £10,000 - £30,000 

BIP offers grant based financial assistance to support existing SME’s across the Midlands, which have been trading for 6 months or more and are ready to undertake investment in innovative production processes. This must lead to new products, which are 'close to market'.

Applicants are encouraged to incorporate a combination of one or more of the following:-

  • Capital Expenditure

  • New Product Development

  • New Marketing Development

  • Business Innovation Mentoring
