Art attacks Oswestry

Saturday 22nd and Sunday 23rd June is the final weekend of the very popular Open Art Weekends hosted by the Borderland Visual Arts collective.

A chance to  view the artwork on display in our local galleries - Willow Gallery, The Chicken Gallery and in participating shop windows and also to see these talented people in their own studios, in and around the town.

It must be something in the water, but this area of the Marches has a flourishing of extraordinarily talented artists in many mediums, including sculpture, painting, textiles, jewellery and ceramics.

There are artists in residence at the Willow Gallery, which is open through the weekend, as is the delicious Willow Cafe. so you can have your art and eat it!

For more information, and to download a map of the studios, visit the BVA website.

Charmed to my boots by Oswestry and the Welsh Marches. I happily do my best to support the fantastic independent shops and businesses in the area through The Best of Oswestry.
