An Oswestry Christmas Festival

Saturday 15th December in Oswestry promises to be a great day for all the family.  We’ve got a load of things to do and see, from making fantastic glowstick lanterns at the Qube, a screening of The Pirates! at the Attfield on Bailey Head,  real live ballet dancers at the specialElla Bella Ballerina Story time at Booka,  and a visit to Santa on a steam train!

There’s a Victorian Christmas at the Willow Gallery, a Christmas Grotto at Cobbles Restaurant (where Santa will be popping in),  a Merry-go-round and Tea-cup ride and a live manger on Festival Square.

There are plenty of special Christmas offers on – Honeypots have an eye-catching Pilgrim Jewellery event on, while The Gates have a special 10% off day.  Next door at Honeysuckle, festive discs will be spun by the glamorous Vinylettes.

The town streets will be awash with the sound of  music, and filled with the scent of festive street food, spiced apple juice and mince pies – to keep your bellies warm and happy.

As dusk falls, the magical lantern procession will begin on Bailey Head and wend its way down to Festival Square for the singing of Christmas Carols around the crib, a lovely way to end the day.
