"I had the best bangers and mash I have ever tasted"

Great praise indeed for a pub just on the outskirts of Norwich which is under new ownership.

We had not been to the Parson Woodforde pub until a few weeks ago. We visited on the recommendation of one of our clients who says that, given the choice, his daughter prefers to go for a meal there than McDonalds! For a kid, that's saying something.

They like it because the staff were there when they needed them but weren't overbearing. They got some playing cards for them and my client and his daughter had a lovely evening. They are now regulars there and my client is even holding an event there, a csi evening.

The Parson Woodforde is now one of our recommended pubs in Norwich. Although it is on the outskirts of the city, we recommend that you give it a try. It is easy to get to it off the A47 and it has loads of free parking.

If you are a music connoisseur, ask Alina to play the piano for you. She was a professional musician but the music is not overwhelming - it is great background music whilst you enjoy the meal but wonderful if you enjoy music.

The bar area is cosy but there is also a large restaurant area at the back, which is great for Sunday lunch, and a beer garden.

Sean and Alina employ 4 chefs and all the food is locally sourced and fresh.

If you do visit this pub and like it, please leave a testimonial for them on our website - just register as a member and write your testimonial. You will find them under "Public Houses Bars and Inns" (A bit of a mouthful we know!)
