One of the "must attend" events this summer is the Barford Festival. Set in a gorgeous meadow in the heart of Barford, Near Norwich, you will find an exciting, cool, funky family festival.

We went last year and it was one of the best things we did all summer!

You can spend the whole afternoon and evening enjoying games, watching international entertainers, making junk jewellery, painting giant murals, listening to live music, have something good to eat and sit back and enjoy a drink whilst the children are happy doing circus tricks, clambering up climbing walls, bouncing on castles and generally having a great time, all for a credit-crunching £10 family ticket.

They kick off at 3pm on Saturday July 11th and have something for everyone….live music from local bands, lots of free hands-on workshops for children, rides and slides for bigger kids, kickstart bike course and climbing wall aswell as traditional side stall tombolas and coconut shies etc. We have free entertainment from comedians, stilt-walkers, jugglers and circus acts plus The Ice-cream Factory, the infamous Dunking Chair, prizes to win and Captain Americas BBQ alongside a well-stocked Beer Tent.

Visit the official www.thebarfordfestival.co.uk website for more information.

AND its all in a good cause…..

Hosted by The Friends of Barford School.
