Proposing this leap year? We have everything you want for your wedding.

February is always a special month for lovers but it’s even more special this year.

2012 is a leap year, and tradition states that on the February 29th a woman can propose marriage to the man she loves.

Nobody knows where the tradition stems from, some say it dates back to Ireland in the 5th Century, others that it links to a fine levied by Queen Margaret of Scotland in 1288 and whilst less romantic souls say that it’s a more modern affair and probably days to the 19th Century.

Whatever the truth may be, it means that this February more people than ever will get engaged.

If you’re planning on popping the question this month, there are lots of things to consider.

The location, the ring, the perfect words, but once you’ve risen from bended knee, the real planning begins.
