How to get HR advice without actually paying for it.

This is a great idea from one of our clients, an HR consultant in Norwich.

How many small business owners either need to take on staff and are worried about all the red tape, or have staff and are not sure how to deal with them effectively or just don't have the time?

Sue from People Plan has come up with a way around this problem by launching a new 'swappage' scheme.

This allows their customers to offset the costs of HR and development services against the provision of their own products or services.

This could mean they can have access to coaching and development in areas such as:

  • Business skills - planning & prioritisation, objective setting, etc
  • Communication
  • Self-development 
  • Anxiety and stress
  • Becoming an employer

Or, if they are a small company they can get help with Contracts of employment, Employment law essentials, Policies and procedures and
HR health checks.

In order to take advantage of the "swap" there must be mutual benefit and proper paperwork such as estimates and ‘invoicing’ must be adhered to.
This scheme is perfect for sole traders, partnerships, employers with up to 5 staff or similar.
