If you're looking for things to do at Halloween then Norwich is the place to be - with its ancient streets and haunted buildings, Norwich certainly has a spookiness that comes into its own at this time of year.

The area around Tombland is especially spooky, with the Maids Head reputedly being the oldest hotel in the UK. If you have nerves of steel, there is a Halloween Murder Mystery at the Maids Head Hotel on the night of Halloween.

If you like dressing up, join Norwich Ghost Walks in their spooky riverside "graveyard" just along from the Adam and Eve pub in Norwich.

Jokers Cabin in Hall Road Norwich is our recommended Fancy Dress Shop in Norwich, where you will find all your halloween outfits. They can also supply children's halloween outfits for trick or treating or Halloween parties. Sparklers and fireworks are available from Kerrison Toys.

Children's halloween activities in Norwich include a pupet making workshop at Norwich Puppet Theatre and some Halloween trails and activities at places just outside Norwich such as Bewilderwood and Thetford Forest.

For real goosebumps, though, one of the UK's best known Clairvoyants, Stephen Holbrook, is appearing at the Assembly House in Norwich on 21st October. If you can't make it on that day but are interested in psychics and clairvoyants then contact Tina Wilkins of Spirit Essence. Based in Norwich, Tina Wilkins does psychic readings in person and by e-mail as well as flower readings, crystal therapy and reiki.
