Wow, what a change - let's hear some good news.

Mary Murray, owner of Margaret Emms, the Florists in Norwich on St Stephen's Street, near the Old Hospital, has had a run of success.

But that success didn't just happen by luck. Most of it has been down to Mary's grit and determination as well as her talent as a florist and superb customer service.

In a short space of time, Mary has become a member of Interflora, which has made a huge impact on her sales, and she has separately gained two huge new contracts.

Not only was Mary chosen to be a member of Interflora, she was then awarded Interflora's prestigious Signature Range. This is Interflora's designer range of flowers and is only awarded by Interflora after they have monitored the quality of the flowers and the level of service at each of the florists in Norwich.

Margaret Emms was the only florist in Norwich chosen to offer the Signature Range.

The two large contracts are with businesses that Mary has been in contact with for the last 5 years and the award of these contracts shows the benefit of perseverance. Mary approached both businesses recently and asked to see them even though they both said that they did not need another florist at the moment.

It turns out that when enquiries were made, the people on the ground in both venues were unhappy with their existing supplier. Mary's timing was perfect, but it was her persistence in the face of difficulty, alongside her superb floristry skills, which has paid off.

Mary is currently recruiting for new florists.
