Football Kit Madness

With the football kit season in full swing, Gary Cockaday, MD of the Norfolk-based 4SportsGroup continues his blog series "A week in the life of..."

Gary says:

"What a week … football kit madness is upon us, cricket now gathering dust until December. We have quoted some 7 new-to-us clubs in the last few days, with 5 kits sold last 48 hours; every one appreciated.

We supply the kits, sometimes 20 sets, with all finishing completed in-house with embroidered club crests, chest sponsors and player numbers – supplying one kit recently to Wroxham Town with 4 sponsors!

I wouldn’t normally single out one club; as we really do pay attention to every order received albeit 2 polo’s or 700 garments, but one of our latest signings has caused us to celebrate - Dereham Town FC one of the biggest clubs in the County with their 1st team newly promoted to the Ryman League, so worth a mention!

We supply businesses, clubs, teams, schools and colleges all over Norfolk and beyond but have become the (dare I say it) dominant kit supplier in our own back-yard … the home of our biggest competitor, supplying Dereham Town FC, Dereham CC, Shipdham FC, Litcham FC, Gressenhall FC, Mattishall FC, Toftwood Utd etc etc and the newest kit buyer on the block DESA who will be opening the doors this September to some 30 b-tech sport students!

Our choice in football kits is huge, offering Nike, Joma, Puma, Hummel, Stanno, Prostar & Precision and about to add Under Armour & a completely bespoke made-to-order sublimated shirt that can be designed to each team's complete no-limit design/wish.

Every one of our kits has a sponsor with their logo applied to the front of the shirts or the back of jackets … if you are up for sponsoring a team, please don’t hesitate to contact me for a quote or indeed to introduce you to a team; we supply many youth clubs, girls and the men

Our workshop is returning to normal having completed (or is that survived) another trophy madness with every deadline met … Harry and his team clocking on at 8 rather than 5AM with in excess of 10,000 trophies supplied last 3 months!

This week I rejoin the world that is ‘networking’ with my alarm set for 5AM (ouch) then off to meet a new client needing to supply 120 staff with 5 garments each … they have seen the samples and are happy with the quotes – so fingers X

Have a very lovely week."
