Norwich-North MP Chloe Smith, who is the Country's youngest MP, was in the news again yesterday when she appeared at the Conservative Party Conference. She said her recent victoy in Norwich-North was a “victory for honest politics”.
We were absolutely delighted when such a high profile person as Chloe agreed to open our business exhibition at Carrow Road on 22nd October. She must be inundated with things to do in her new role but is making time to support local businesses in two weeks time.
The All About Business exhibition has only been two months in the planning - we jumped in with two other businesses - The Business Club Norfolk and Martin Lake, who owns Copyprint and is a director of Buy Local - to run the exhibition when the previous one was cancelled.
It's been exhilarating and fun. The best bit has been the way everyone has joined together to help us - Toastmaster Bob, NE-Xcuse, OPL Productions, our recommended video production company, will be videoing the event, we have a great speaker and now, to top it all, Chloe Smith will be there to open the event. How fantastic is that.
This Norwich business exhibition will be different and, we hope, will have a vibrant atmosphere, with live music, networking areas, exhibition stands, speaker and room to meet contacts for a drink or sandwich at the bar.
