Take Dad to the pub or a restaurant and treat him to a great meal so long as it doesn't clash with the footie although most pubs will be screening the important games:

  • Thanal Restaurant - looking after Dad on Father's Day especially if he loves Indian food. Read some of Thanal's great reviews and testimonials.
  • Rushtons Bistro - in the heart of Newark on Stodman Street this is a favourite restaurant locally serving quality food freshly prepared in it's own kitchens
  • Farndon Boathouse - After Mothers' day you can't forget your dad! 3-course lunch - £22.50pp
  • The Generous Briton - in the beautiful village of Brant Broughton. Take a drive out of town and enjoy some real ales in a traditional village pub
  • The Hare and Hounds at Fulbeck offers a wide-range of home cooking - The Lincolnshire Echo's 'Food Monster' critic has given them a 5-Star review!
  •  The Red Lion at Caythorpe is highly recommended by friends of mine that live in the village and gives a warm welcome to anyone who walks through the doors. Fabulous local pub
  • The Peacock Inn at Redmile is located in the Vale of Belvoir, this is a lovely drive out of Newark and a beautiful, traditional pub which will please most men
  • Forever Green - this is a stunning restaurant set in beautiful woodlands just 17 miles from Newark, known at Nottinghamshire's best kept secret.
