Lovely venue, great food, staff just need polishing with less effort but better communication. Were asked three times how good main was then no dessert requests.

What an absolutely fantastic new restaurant! The setting is beautiful and an incredibly well appointed room. The food was exquisite and the service was just a lot of very enthusiastic, jolly people that couldn't do enough to help us (we had some questions about the menu to fit our restrictive diets which the staff were very helpful about). In summary; good food in a lovely setting from lovely people.

A lovey restaurant with good happy service, and very large portions. The chef came out to welcome guests which was a lovely personal touch. The building has been very sensitively refurbished and is beautiful. The only disappointment is a very limited choice in starters and pasta for vegetarians.

Just been for lunch with my family, inside decor is very nice. We had 2 pizzas, carbonara and torttelini pasta.pizzas were absolutely delicious, daughter had carbonara and she told us its the best carbonara she has ever eaten, and she is super fussy. Tortellini was lovely, we had pannacota after and finished the whole experience very nicely.
The chef came over and spoke to us, he was very nice and was a pleasure to meet him and chat.the staff that served us were super helpful and polite, only thing i found was i wanted a non alcoholic ale or beer with my lunch, but only had becks blue which im not a fan, but overall was an amazing lunch experience and would definitely return to try other items on the menu. 💯👍💪

We are here for the first time on Saturday. The building is beautiful and the decor inside is really lovely. When we arrived there were several staff members congregating around the bar area, we didn’t no who to talk to and it seemed a bit chaotic. But a friendly lad showed us to our table. We had a table for 2 but it was quite close to a table for 4 who were rather loud - there was also a standing fan blowing straight in my face!

There are round booths down the side which seem to seat two or 3 people, and the position of our table meant we were being stared at side on by a couple in a booth!

We both ordered the chicken milanse to start and it was enormous! Definitely not a starter, but unfortunately the chicken was very bland, no flavour, and came with new potatoes and some salad.

We ordered pizzas for main, which were ok, but we make tastier ones at home with our Ooni pizza oven. There was no garlic bread on the evening menu, and no fresh Parmesan is offered, only some grated cheese in a shaker pot.

The young lad that served us was friendly and polite, but overall we were left deflated and won’t be rushing back. Shame, as it was nice to have a new restaurant open in the town.

Firstly, great building, décor & staff… Not so great are the cocktails and presentation of the menu; some of our dishes were very bland. Not what you would expect from a newly opened restaurant.

I don’t usually leave negative reviews, but I’m sharing this as constructive feedback in the hope that it leads to some positive changes.

We visited as a group of four for dinner and found the experience to be a bit mixed. The menu felt quite limited, and we found it a little difficult to find dishes that appealed to everyone in our group. We all ordered starters and mains, but unfortunately, the sauces lacked depth of flavour and the main course portions were on the smaller side.

We politely suggested to the chef that slightly larger portions might improve the experience, but the response felt somewhat defensive. We want to clarify that we meant no offence at all—just hoped to offer helpful feedback.

That said, the drinks were excellent, and the decor is absolutely stunning—clearly a lot of care has gone into creating a beautiful dining space.

We truly hope the owners take this on board, as we’d love to return and see how things evolve. The potential is definitely there.

Very disappointed. I’ll try to be constructive as hopefully this will help them to improve for the future. I went here with family, all of us excited to try it out. As we arrived there was a lot of construction rubbish at the side of the entrance which didn’t give a great first impression. I’m aware they are still building the garden but this could have been hidden from view. It was a very hot day, and they didn’t appear to have any air conditioning set up, as there was a lot of table fans dotted around. The place looks stunning, however the menu was quite limited, with 4 out of 6 pasta dishes available containing seafood, which none of us were fans of. There were some really nice sounding pasta dishes on the lunch menu but for some reason you couldn’t get these in the evening (we were happy to pay more). My dad had the chefs special pizza which was extremely bland, white base with cheese and some prosciutto. I went for the safe option of a pepperoni pizza and although the tomato base was very flavourful and obviously homemade, the rest was very average. My sister had the chicken in creamy sauce, and the portion was very small and the sauce watery. We were all still
hungry so we ordered some tiramisu which I will say was very delicious. A very mixed experience. It doesn’t feel like genuine Italian food to me, and I would struggle to recommend this to anyone when there are two fantastic independent Italian restaurants in town already.

Went here last night with a group of friends and had a bit of a mixed experience. The food was delicious, beautifully cooked and nicely presented. Although they forgot my friend's side of fries so they arrived as she'd finished her meal unfortunately.
The inside is lovely too, stylish and comfortable. Due to the high ceiling and large space at times it could be noisy.
Service however, was hit and miss. Most of the staff seemed inattentive. It was difficult to get anyone's attention at times and we had to wait a long time for someone to take our drinks order and then a long time for them to arrive. That said, Callum, our waiter for part of the evening, was a real bright spot - friendly and helpful and clearly doing his best.
Two of my friends ordered Pornstar Martinis but that is not what they were. Full of ice and pale in colour they said it tasted of sugar syrup. Two sips and it was gone. We did complain and were not charged for these.
In short, good food in a great setting but the service (with the exception of Callum) really let things down. Worth a visit but be prepared to be patient.

We’d heard a few negative reports ahead of our booking tonight, but I prefer to base my opinion on my own experience.
We had a lovely meal; there were plenty of staff, all of whom were attentive; we were quickly seated and our orders were taken promptly. The chef came out and spoke to all the diners, checking they were happy with their food. Food was very nice; no complaints there, and was good value for the price.
The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated and the interior of the building (a former bank) is spectacular. Give it a try; new enterprises like this deserve to be encouraged and supported.

We visited earlier this evening for my husband’s birthday. The building has been renovated very tastefully and looks lovely. The staff were very attentive, the food was very tasty and we had a lovely evening.

Wonderful food and service atmosphere was great love the bank style they have kept but it's been hold by for me by small details I've cherypicked also the salt and pepper shakers do not work well but did detract from the experience all around 5 stars

Really good addition to the Market Harborough eating establishments. Fantastic refurbishment of an old bank - great decor - very smart! Food good. Sensible Italian choices - some well known favourites. Homemade pasta - beautifully cooked. Nice touch with the chef coming to the table to enquire about our view of his food and the menu. Wine list pretty reasonable so all in all 5 stars. We will return! Will be interesting to see how the outside ‘garden’ arrangements work - understood to be about a fortnight before the ‘garden’ area is opened.

Lovely glass of Sauvignon Blank in a very relaxed, friendly and pleasant ambiance. Have booked to eat here next week on the back of having drinks. It was a hot day and sadly no air con but plenty of fans and they were very accommodating when booking a table to have the fans near by. Back ground music was pleasant and not invasive giving a lovely atmosphere.
