I was looking forward to a new restaurant in Market Harborough but was disappointed. The food was ok at best and the menu uninspiring. Felt like a restaurant that didn’t quite know what Italian was. The experience wasn’t terrible but I wouldn’t return.

This new restaurant is in the old NatWest building and the interior has been done very tastefully - it has an 'upmarket' vibe. We had a warm greeting from the staff and were shown to one of the booth tables - great table although the booth seating could have been more comfy. I had the Penne Al'arabiatta from the very reasonably priced lunch menu - best pasta I've eaten for many years - clearly homemade and delicious - and delivered to our table by the Head Chef, Giampaolo. What a lovely guy and such an enthusiast for authentic Italian food (I've added a pic)! My husband had the starter lamb chops and the 'potato pie' - which was a new one on us! Had to sample the garlic bread too - rude not to. We shared an excellent cold bottle of rose and all in all a great, relaxed lunch and we'll definitely come back. One thing I'd say for constructive criticism would be to change style of the menu; currently its laminated, some typos and the layout and font didn't seem to fit the 'classy' vibe of the interior somehow.

I came here alone on tuesday and the service was great, i was immediately seated and greeted to a table and after a few minutes my drinks and starter order was taken. The presentation and taste of the Spicy Prawn starter was perfect. Highly recommend.

We had the pork Saltimbucca alla romana and Tagliolini Carbonara. Both dishes were beautifully presented and tasty. The pork was so tender.

Made a pleasant surprise to try something new, and it didn't disappoint. For only being open a week, there wasn't an empty table. The staff are very friendly and attentive. The food is freshly made with a very acceptable waiting time. It was very enjoyable, personally I think the prices are a little high, but you do get quality. One very noticeable and after a while, annoying is the sound of the kitchen door constantly thudding shut. Other than that, loved it đź‘Ť

Our first time visiting this evening; the front of house staff were absolutely wonderful, so attentive and polite. I could also see them going above and beyond for other tables as well. The wine was lovely (tempranillo), they've done a stunning job of the decor, a lovely environment for a date night.
Our only negatives: we found the menu quite confusing (I'm a veggie), and the meals themselves were perfectly edible, but we didn't feel were the 'authentic Italian restaurant standard' they're going for, however everyone was clearly trying extremely hard. And the chef personally came out and was chatting with customers, keen to improve.
We would definitely come again, just perhaps after some of the teething problems are worked out. We totally appreciate it's a very new restaurant. Also prices are extremely reasonable!!

This restaurant is worth a visit. The food is absolutely gorgeous and the environment is too. I think it is ideal for a special occasion rather than just a pop in restaurant.

Visited as a lunch 'walk in' after seeing it had opened recently. Friendly greeting and booth we were sat at was lovely, with plenty of fans around helping to keep the restaurant cool. We had bread and oils followed by the pesto tortellini from the quick lunch menu (which is a great addition btw with more affordable paninis & pasta options available at a quicker turnaround) along with the tuna and cannelini bean salad. Both were delicious and we're looking forward to visiting in an evening to try the pizzas and other main options. Even got a nice visit to the table from the chef to welcome us. Only marked atmosphere down a point as we were the only ones there so need to experience it at a busy time to see it's full potential.

The food came out quickly and was presented amazingly and very hot!
The taste was amazing ! My husband said it was the best pizza he had had for a long time ! The base stayed crunchy ! The prawns were large and succulent!
My pasta was also one of the nicest I have had !
We spoke to the wonderful chef who gave us some lovely authentic information about food from Italy he was very passionate about his food and how he added a bit of magic to each dish !

Great service. The food was delicious - really good quality and cooked perfectly. We had the Saltimbocca and one of the pasta dishes- highly recommend. Tiramisu was very tasty too.Generously sized portions! Very friendly and attentive staff. The chef even came out with one of our dishes too. Comfy seats and really nice ambience. We met up in Market Harborough as a half way point and glad we chose this restaurant. Will definitely visit again.
