Xmas lights extragavanza!

What an absolute treat it was to be in town last night with everyone enjoying the start of Christmas in Lichfield!

We heard the wonderful carol singing of the Christchurch Junior School, the cast from this year's pantomime "A Christmas Carol" put in an appearance. Hasn't that Graham Cole got a booming voice? He's going to be really scary as Scrooge. Can't wait to go & see them at the beginning of December.

The Mayoral party were all smiles even though they got covered in snow! At least this year it was only pretend.

Then at 7pm the button was pressed & Christmas came to Lichfield to the delight of all the youngsters in the crowd.

The highlight had to be the arrival of the Lichfield Round Table who very kindly escorted Santa through the town.

So for those of you who have been putting off that shopping it is time to make a start. Let's support our local High Street this festive season & Buy Local where we can.
