The Lichfield Literature Festival continues throughout the weekend. With a programme packed with events for everyone, be sure not to miss out!

Friday 3rd March:

Untold Tales From the Cells - Come along for an intimate theatre experience for small audiences as the prisoners welcome you into their cells to hear their last confession, brought to you by Momentum Productions.

Lunar Society: Dr Kate Iles – Dr Kate Croft explores the life of Maria Edgeworth, the prolific writer of adults' and children's literature. At the Erasmus Darwin House.

The Golden Moment: A Family Farewell to Johnson & Garrick - Performed by Intimate Theatre, this is a moving play set on the morning of 2nd March 1737, the day that Sam and David set out for London to find their fortunes together – but is everybody happy about them leaving? 

The Barron Knights - As well as old favourites like Call up The Groups, the Barron Knights will make you rock, laugh and roll with their inimitable versions of the William tell Overture and their Flamenco party piece Malaguana, and many, many more.

Saturday 4th March:

Route 66 Festival - Summer Festival Launch Event - Summer Festival Launch Event - Grab your dancing shoes and get set for a Route 66 road trip - it's Festival Party time! Join in the fun with an evening of food and entertainment as celebrations for the 10th anniversary of the Lichfield Literature Festival

ELO Again – A must see for any die hard ELO fan, revel in ELO's unique symphonic rockstyle and hear some of the most unforgettable classic rock and pop songs of our generation.

Festival Paper Fair - Throughout the day there will be stalls featuring free activities, information stands from organisations across the region, craft sellers, free author talks and readings and the ever popular Festival Book Swap, there is guaranteed to be something for everyone.

Letters of War - The Staffordshire Regiment Museum Based on the book written by Jill Young in 2015, these performances will be held in the Museum’s gallery, followed by guided trench tours.

Book Sale Vintage and Modern – Visit St. Giles Hospice Warehouse where they are holding a book sale in aid of St Giles Hospice. There will be vintage and modern books for both adults & children. 

Sunday 5th March:
