Friday 30th September:

World’s Biggest Coffee Morning - Join in the world's biggest coffee morning to help raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support by visiting the many local Lichfield businesses that are hosting coffee mornings.

Journey's End – The award-winning classic story masterfully gives a harrowing insight into the humanity of the First World War. Come to the Lichfield Garrick to experience a gripping and truly compelling evening of theatre.

L2F Ceilidh with the Reel Hot Ceilidh Peppers – If you’re looking for a fun night of entertainment and dancing, then come to the Guildhall and get your dancing shoes on. Lichfield Arts, with help from the Reel Hot Ceilidh Peppers bring this lung busting, smile inducing night.

Labels – A funny, honest and moving story about mixed heritage and immigration, Labels is an award-winning show that offers a human story from multicultural Britain using honesty and humour.

Saturday 1st October:

Ride To The Wall – Come and watch as thousands of motorcyclists from around the UK ride up to the National Memorial Arboretum for an emotional and moving service. There will also be activities at the Arboretum throughout the day.

Nicholas Parsons – Beloved radio and television presenter Nicholas Parsons will be treating audiences to an evening of anecdotal entertainment, as he recounts events from his amazing career at the Lichfield Garrick.

Guided Tours of The Samuel Johnson Birthplace Museum – Learn more about famous philosopher Dr Samuel Johnson by touring the beautiful house in these educational and fun tours. 

Guided Tours at The Lichfield Garrick – The Lichfield Garrick welcomes visitors to join them in their tours that shows what goes on backstage and lets visitors take a sneak peek into the lives of those who work there. 

Sunday 2nd October:

Kathryn's Homemade Cakes at Lea Hall Social Club - The incredibly talented Kathryn Matthews from Kathryn's Homemade Cakes will be at Lea Hall Colliery Sports & Social Club for their wedding fayre. 

Autumn Darwin Walk (Widdershins) – The Darwin Walk is a 10 mile walk encircling the city to commemorate Erasmus Darwin's association with Lichfield. Why not come along and see what you learn?

Something for in the week…

Make Your Will Fortnight – 3rd October sees the beginning of Make Your Will Fortnight, which sees local solicitors across the region helping you update or make a will. All you have to do is make a donation to St Giles Hospice.

Lichfield Garrick Youth Theatre Presents Sunset Boulevard – The famous film is bought to the stage in this musical adaptation by The Lichfield Garrick Youth Threatre. The show will be running from 5th – 8th October.

Tales in the Courtyard - Lichfield Storytellers – The storytellers are taking on the story of Little Red Riding Hood but with a darkly humorous playful twist.
