Lichfield Christmas Festival Weekends - Kick off your Christmas celebrations with lots of festive events and activities across Lichfield City. On both 3rd – 4th December and 10th - 11th December, there will be a variety of Christmas events and activities for you to take part in.

Friday 2nd December:

Christmas Celebrations at Hawkesyard Estate - This year’s Christmas season at Hawkesyard Estate offers you a choice of celebration lunches and evenings with delicious food, fun entertainment and a sparkling Christmas atmosphere. 

St Chads CE (VC) School PFA Christmas Fayre - Come along and join in the fun at this years Christmas fayre, with lots of family festive fun, crafts and games, as well as a visit from Father Christmas.

Saturday 3rd December:

Sleeping Beauty at the Lichfield Garrick - It wouldn't be Christmas without the panto, and this year is no different. The Lichfield Garrick presents Sleeping Beauty; the story of a young princess who is cursed to eternal sleep by an evil witch, unless kissed by a prince. With a star-studded cast taking to the stage, this promises to be the Garrick's most spectacular pantomime ever!

Arthur Price Factory Shop Seasonal Sale - Add some sparkle this Christmas by visiting the Arthur Price Factory Shop. Up to 70% off a selection of cutlery, gifts and tableware. Sale runs 3rd December - 17th December.

Festive Food & Gift Fair at Lichfield Cathedral – Visit Lichfield Cathedral for a day browsing a variety of stalls packed with homemade gift ideas, festive treats and delicious food to warm you up. 

Christmas Tree Festival - See the aisles of Lichfield Cathedral filled with trees, beautifully embellished by our local schools, groups and businesses. Visitors can vote for which tree is their favourite! 

Christmas Food and Gift Fair - Find the perfect Christmas presents for your loved ones at the Arboretum's food and gift fair weekend. From artisan food to beautiful handmade homewares, clothing items and toys, there's all sorts of wonderful items up for sale. Our recommended bread makers Hunnypot Cottage Designs will also be there, so be sure to visit them!

Celtic Christmas StringsLichfield Arts brings a delightful satisfyingly original, often refreshingly unpredictable take on festive favourites in the form of Máire and Chris’s alchemy on harp and guitar, creating a very special magic especially for Christmas. 

Sunday 4th December:

Lichfield Chamber of Trade & Commerce Christmas Fayre – Visit Lichfield’s Market Square where there will be stalls displaying Christmas gifts, seasonal food with entertainment provided on the Square throughout the day. This is an event not to be missed! 

St Giles Hospice Rudolph Run – Help raise money for St Giles Hospice by running (or walking) through the stunning grounds of Tamworth Castle in Christmas fancy dress.  

Lantern Parade & Lighting of Cathedral Christmas Tree - Enjoy beautiful music, a lantern parade and the lighting of the Cathedral Christmas Tree. 

Something for in the week…

Pom's Coffee Morning – To raise money for St Giles Hospice,  Pom’s will be donating 25p from every hot drink sold to the Hospice and will also be providing some cakes for everyone to enjoy - on them! 

Christmas Party Sax Night at The Pear Tree Crêperie - This is the perfect night to get you into the Christmas spirit. Enjoy the delicious crêpes and galettes while listening to the soulful sounds of Samantha-Jayne and her saxophone. 

Tales in the Courtyard - Lichfield Storytellers - Take a break from the Christmas rush - spend a relaxing evening being entertained by the Lichfield Storytellers.
