Friday 29th July:

The Lichfield Garrick's first ever community musical  The Hired Man begins its run this weekend. Starring a 50+ cast of talented local performers and with a variety of evening and matinee performances, the Hired Man is set to be a truly magnificent piece of theatre.

Xplorer Navigational Challenge - Children and parents are invited to Beacon Park for this enjoyable orienteering challenge.

Rock 'n' Roll Night - Enjoy a fun packed evening of Rock ’n’ Roll Music at The 3 Horseshoes in Barton where you will be able to do some dancing to live Music from Jake Henry. This promises to be a fun and unforgettable night.

Saturday 30th July:

A Spotlight On: The Home Guard: A Miracle of Improvisation – Come to the National Memorial Arboretum to learn more about the Home Guard as their history is explored as well as debunking some of the myths associated with this important defence force.

Calm Birth Class –  Obsession Salon and Spa are running classes to help pregnant women have a desired ‘calm birth’ which will help ease the stresses of child birth. Booking essential.

Sunday 31st July:

Middleton Hall Food & Craft Market - Hunnypot Cottage Designs will be at this popular food and craft marketing where you will be able to take home some of their delicious homemade artisan breads.

Cycle Rides for All - This month sees the cyclists pedalling off from Burntwood Leisure Centre on a six mile ride round Chasewater Country Park. Anyone is welcome to join the group, so just turn up with your bike and get cycling!

Battle of the Somme Guided Walk - Visit the National Memorial Arboretum for these fascinating and educational tours. Join one of the expert guides on a tour around the grounds to discover just some of the memorials which have links to the Battle of the Somme.

Adult Swimming Lessons at Friary Grange Leisure Centre – A great way to build confidence in the water and improve stroke techniques to become a better swimmer, why not come down and have a go in the water?

Before Action - WW1 Commemoration  - Featuring exclusive recordings by Oscar winning actor Eddie Redmayne, ‘Before Action’ is a unique and one off Art installation - throughout the inside of Lichfield Cathedral.

Big Bounce in Lichfield - Have a family fun day out as the Big Bounce comes to Lichfield, where there is lots of fun to be had for children of all ages starting with their Fancy Dress day, as well as unlimited play on their inflatable equipment.

Midland Karting will be having their Race School, which helps young drivers gain more confidence on the track by learning new driving skills and techniques. Places need to be booked.
