Chinese New Year at the Ruby - Celebrate the Chinese New Year at Lichfield's favourite Chinese restaurant, the Ruby.

Expect an impressive celebration for the year of the rooster, with delicious Chinese cuisine, karaoke and much more. Book your place before they all go! From Wednesday 25th January – Saturday 28th January.

Lichfield Winter Beer and Wine FestivalLichfield Arts invite you to join them at their Winter Beer & Wine Festival this Friday & Saturday. You can look forward to enjoying fine ales and traditional ciders at the wonderful Lichfield Guildhall with live music on both evenings.

Friday 27th January:

TEN - ACE Dance and Music - A full-length dance production packed with intense physical power and human fragility. This show explores humanity’s universal stories with an overarching tone that is both epic and poetic.

Saturday 28th January:

Hunnypot Cottage at The Shepherd's Hut Come and visit The Shepherd's Hut in the Heart of the Country Shopping Village, where Hunnypot Cottage Designs will be showcasing their signature artisan breads as well as a selection of their crafts.

A Spotlight On: Remembering, The Holocaust and Memorialisation - This Spotlight On talk will explore the difficult task of finding a memorial language to commemorate the mass death of the Holocaust. At the National Memorial Arboretum.

Big Garden Bird Watch - Come on down to Beacon to do some bird watching. Collect your recording sheet from the Ranger Station and then note down all the birds you spot for the RSPB’s annual survey. 

Quill - Following the success of their show last year at the Lichfield Garrick, don't miss the Country, Folk and Celtic Rock sensations performing both old favourites and new tracks.

Sunday 29th January:

Friends' Bridge Drive - Join the Friends of Erasmus Darwin House for an afternoon of friendly rubber bridge with tea and cake. Proceeds go to the upkeep of a beautiful Georgian townhouse.

The Lichfield Players Presents Dad's Army The classic comedy set in WWII of the Home Guard battling against the Germans and ARP Warden Hodges is brought to the stage at the Lichfield Garrick; featuring all the well-loved characters. 

Little Saplings Sensory Play – These play sessions are designed to help the younger visitors enjoy the Arboretum.

Steve "Big Man" Clayton and The 44’s - Steve “Big Man” Clayton and The 44’s are very much keeping the art of blues piano alive and kicking! See them live at the Lichfield Guildhall – brought by Lichfield Arts.
