Don’t miss the Blues and Jazz Festival which is running all weekend. Lichfield Arts have worked hard to seek out some of the finest blues & jazz musicians to come play for Lichfield audiences. Not only that, they’ll be lots of fun to be had, with workshops, street bands and other performances too. So if you’re looking for something a little different this weekend, check out the Blues & Jazz Festival.

Friday 24th June:

Sax Night at The Pear Tree Crêperie - The amazing saxophonist Samantha-Jayne returns to The Pear Tree Crêperie to provide customers with the sounds of the soulful saxophone, making it an even more pleasurable experience.

Charity Music Event - With Josh in Mind – Help support the Mind charity by attending their charity music night being held at Darnford Moors Golf Club. Expect a night of great live music as well as dance classics played on the dance floor.

Or if you can’t make that, you could attend their Charity Golf Day the next day, which promises to be a special day with refreshments on arrival, the golf, lunch and a buffet dinner, to look forward to, as well as competition prizes and a raffle/auction.

Saturday 25th June:

Armed Forces Day – Come down to the National Memorial Arboretum to show your support for HM Armed Forces, with a day full of activities for the whole family to enjoy. Look out for Hunnypot Cottage Designs, who will be there with their delicious artisan breads and gifts, which you can book in advance and collect on the day.

St Chads CE (VC) School PFA Summer Fayre - St Chads CE (VC) Primary School are holding their annual PFA Summer Fayre, where they’ll be a BBQ, inflatables, face painting, craft stalls, cake stalls, a cafe, lots of games, tombola, raffle and lots more.

David MacGregor - A Night Of World Jazz Guitar - Scottish guitarist and composer David MacGregor showcases his musical talents, playing a mixture of jazz, blues, original, classical and world music at the Lichfield Garrick.

Sunday 26th June:

Middleton Hall Food & Craft Market - The creative team at Hunnypot Cottage Designs will be offering their delicious and different varieties of bread, rolls and even more. Why not pop down and pick up one of their tasty treats?

Cycle Rides for All – This month sees the cyclists riding to Weeford and Packington Moor in this challenging 23 mile cycle. Anyone can come along and have a go, so why not get out the old cycle gear and give it a go?

Holiday Party at Aston Wood – abagofun Entertainments bring their Holiday Party, which is bursting with fun activities for children. Enjoy 2 hours of pure entertainment, involving high energy games, prizes, and as an extra treat, a special guest will be making an appearance.

The City of Lichfield Concert Band – Playing in the beautiful Beacon Park Museum Garden, the band will be performing a programme of varied music, such as pop hit, film themes and popular classical music.

This year sees the return of the Lichfield Festival in its 35th year. Showcasing a variety of talent from all different art forms, there’s something for everyone at this year’s festival.

Pop down to Arthur Price Factory Shop they’ll be having their Summer Sale, with 75% off many items and other offers that you would be crazy to miss.

Cars will flood Beacon Park for the always popular Cars in the Park event. With all sorts of cars in different shapes, sizes and colours making their way, look around and admire the unique automobiles on site.
