Friday 18th November:

Sundown on the Somme - Come down in the National Memorial Arboretum's  final reflection to remember those who fought and died at the Battle of the Somme. 

J.R.R. Tolkien - Soldier and Myth Maker – This exciting exhibition documenting the life of the Lord of the Rings author J.R.R. Tolkein comes to Lichfield Library. Visitors to the exhibition will be able to explore the writings, poetry and artwork that Tolkien wrote in Staffordshire as well as learn more about life for soldiers in Staffordshire during the Great War.

Ballet Black: Triple Bill featuring Storyville - International dancers of black and Asian descent collaborate with three bold and inventive choreographers to present an irresistible trilogy of narrative and abstract dance at the Lichfield Garrick.

Saturday 19th November:

St Giles Hospice Christmas Fayre - There's lots to do and see at St Giles' Christmas Fayre. Take part in the variety of activities on offer. Santa will also be making an appearence!

Christmas Fayre at Lichfield Library - It may only be November, but it's not too early to start your Christmas shopping, and this is the ideal place to get started. Browse the many stalls offering gifts for you to purchase for loved ones.  

And Finally... Phil Collins - Featuring an amazing eleven piece band which includes the 'And Finally Horns' they faithfully re-create all the classic hits from the Phil Collins and Genesis back catalogue. Be sure not to miss this amazing tribute at the Lichfield Garrick.

Tippers Christmas Market - Hunnypot Cottage Designs will also be one of the many sellers at Tippers' annual Christmas Market. Also joining in the festive fun will be local celebrity chef Simon Smith who will be performing Christmas cooking demonstrations. 

Sunday 20th November:

Willow Workshops at Ingestre Hall Arts & Crafts Fayre - Ellen from Wacky Willow Creations will be hosting mini workshops and have activity packs for you to make your very own willow creation at this years Arts & Craft Fayre at the beautiful Ingestre Hall. 

Sarah Gillespie Quartet - Performing songs from her back catalogue along with material from Sarah’s new album released in September 2016, audiences will be enchanted by her unique blend of poetic, streetwise lyricism, blues, jazz and folk. 

Lichfield And Tamworth Cats Protection Winter Fair - Join in the Cats Protection fundraising day at the cattery! There will be lots on offer, including our 2016 Calendars, as well as our new goods, bric-a-brac, tombola and independent crafts - stalls selling fabulous homemade gifts and Christmas goodies.

Free Mouth Cancer Checks – Spires Dental Clinic want to help raise awareness of mouth cancer, so they are hosting a coffee morning at the clinic with FREE mouth cancer checks on offer. So why not come along and be mouth aware.
