Weekend Events:

Lichfield Food Festival – The highly anticipated Lichfield Food Festival returns and has lots to offer for visitors. With an extensive programme of activities and events throughout the weekend, including the Food Festival market, cooking demonstrations, children’s activities, a bake-off and more, there is plenty to be enjoyed.

Look out for The Best of Lichfield, as we’ll be there on both days. Come over and say hello.

Murder On The Churchill Express - Audience members of the show are given the opportunity to play detective in this interactive and immersive theatrical experience at the Lichfield Garrick. Try to solve the murder mystery in an evening of fun, mystery and laughter.

I Am Team GB - Lichfield will be joining in the nationwide celebrations by offering free sports activities to all in different leisure centres across the district. All this is to celebrate the success of Team GB’s achievements at the Rio 2016 Olympics.

Friday 26th August:

Willow Workshop at Woodland Beasties – Join Ellen from Wacky Willow Creations as she hosts this fun willow workshop for all ages at the Heart of the Country Shopping Village. It will be lots of fun for all the family.

Beer & Food Evening at Pom's - Visitors to Pom’s Kitchen & Deli will be treated to a 5 course dinner with 5 different beers; only at £35 per person! The evening will be hosted by Purity Brewing.

Saturday 27th August:

Minecraft Session at Lichfield Library – Have some competitive fun with other Minecraft players at Lichfield Libraries’ morning Minecraft Session.

Sunday 28th August:

Adult Swimming Lessons at Friary Grange Leisure Centre – A great way to build confidence in the water and improve stroke techniques to become a better swimmer, why not come down and have a go in the water?

Tennis for Free – These free weekly sessions allow anyone to take up some tennis lessons – for free! Come down to Beacon Park’s tennis courts, pick up a racket and give it a go!

Monday 29th August:

Big Bounce in Lichfield - Brought to you by TheBestFun company, children of all ages will be able to have lots of fun and take part in many of the activities, including bouncy castles, go karts, rodeo rides and much more.

Xplorer Navigational Challenge – Explore Beacon Park in this fun orienteering challenge the whole family can enjoy.

Joe Pasquale – The comedian, actor and television presenter comes to the Lichfield Garrick to bring a show like no other – it has to be seen to be believed.

Autumn Beer FestivalLichfield Arts hosts their always popular Autumn Beer Festival at the Guildhall. Enjoy a weekend of live music, tasty food as well as a selection of real ales and ciders.

Lichfield Proms in Beacon Park – Come down to Beacon Park and join the thousands of people at this year’s Lichfield Proms, where you can enjoy an evening of music.

The free family event brings thousands of people together from across the region to enjoy an evening of dining, live classical music and fireworks. Thebestoflichfield will be there, so be sure to say hello!
