What are you doing for Harvest?

It's that time of year when we celebrate the food grown on the land with church services, school assemblies and traditional harvest hymns of "We Plough the Fields and Scatter" and "All Things Bright and Beautiful".

With various thanksgiving ceremonies and celebrations taking place throughout the UK, local people gather flowers and vegetables before taking their offerings to church or schools.

Businesses celebrating home grown food in Lichfield include:

New Farm Produce - they have been growing and supplying seasonal produce for over 40 years!

Manor Farm Fruits - growing and selling an amazing array of high quality fruit, the fruit farm is open to the public to pick their own strawberries, raspberries and more throughout the summer months
