2012’s national Love Parks Week is taking place from 21 to 29 July. This is the annual campaign, organised by the parks charity GreenSpace, which encourages people to get out and enjoy their local parks.
In celebration, Lichfield District Council is inviting everyone to Beacon Park for some bug hunting and pond dipping fun.
The Mini Monsters Bug Hunt and Pond Dipping sessions are on Saturday 21, Sunday 22 and Monday 23 July, from 10am to 12noon and 1pm to 3pm.
