Ingestre Orangery is a Grade II listed building overlooking gardens designed by Capability Brown within the grounds of Ingestre Hall, Staffordshire. It’s a popular visitor attraction and wedding/events venue operating as a registered charity with the support of a team of volunteers.
Like many venues the Orangery has not been able to allow public visits or to host weddings and other events throughout most of the pandemic.
In partnership with Peter RALi Studios, we at Spectrum Web Products have created an interactive virtual tour of the Orangery that now appears on their website: http://www.ingestreorangery.co.uk/virtual-visits/
This tour will help to promote the venue for tourist visits, and it will also enable prospective wedding and event clients to view the venue prior to hiring – helping to reduce the need for site visits during the pandemic.
Looking ahead, the virtual tour will continue to showcase the Orangery to prospective visitors and hirers well after the current restrictions have been lifted.
Lara Rowe of Ingestre Orangery commented:
'Our visitors and prospective hirers are giving us great feedback on the virtual tour. It is helping us to continue discussions with them about our venue and reduce business disruption during closure'
Virtual tours for venues
Virtual tours are a great way of promoting tourist attractions and venues for hire. If you operate a venue that could benefit from a virtual tour, we’d like to hear from you. Just email firstname.lastname@example.org and we’ll be delighted to provide further information.
