Trek Training in Lichfield
30th April 2013

Phew!  Just back from a very brisk walk to and from town, shopping and also handing out flyers for our next fundraising event.  Lichfield is such a wonderful place to live – lovely, friendly people everywhere.  Every walk counts towards the training programme leading up to our trek in North Vietnam in October to raise funds for St Giles Hospice.

On Tuesday evening fellow trekker Sue rang up and said “Fancy a quick walk through the park?”  So off we went in our walking boots (Sue still in her dress after work!) to see how lovely Beacon Park was looking in preparation for Princess Anne’s visit the following day.  It’s amazing how breathless you get when walking quickly and talking at the same time!

Wednesday saw me (Debbie) at my first Pilates class since my back surgery – it was great to be back at Seedy Mill.  I really must update my gym programme to help my trek training!

Not much training on Thursday as we were getting ready for a wedding at the weekend but excellent for St Giles as Helen from CRE8TIVE Hair & Beauty Studio kindly donated a voucher for a full body massage for the raffle being held at my Open House event.  Please call me on 07799 055680 for an invitation.
