The National Arboretum will be holding felt-making and textile workshops throughout the Whitsun week, with lots of opportunities for visitors young and old to get involved and contribute towards this amazing project.  Time: 10.30am - 12.30pm in the Poppy Room

Why not go along to the WW1 Discovery Day at the Staffordshire Regiment Museum,

The discovery day is a great way to find out what life was like for soldiers in the Great War. Adults £5.00 Children, Senior Citizens and concessions £4.00 Family ticket (2 adults 3 Children) £20.00

Lichfield Greenhill Bower - Party in the Park Beacon Park - charity stalls, arts and crafts, fabulous ‘Paws in the Park’ dog show, picnic areas, food stalls, Van Buren’s Variety Show and fine wines and Prosecco from Lichfield’s Worth Brothers Wine Merchants. Kids will love the play areas and the chance for an ice-cream treat!  Crowning of the Bower Queen outside the Guildhall

Boot Camp at Friary Grange Leisure Centre -suitable for 10 to 16 year olds. Booking Essential.  The Boot Camp is held over 3 days and incorporates circuit training style sessions involving strength and conditioning along with a pool side workout with a difference! Each day involves an hour of circuit training followed by an hour the pool.

Dance Mats & Sports Wall Sessions - half term fun at Friary Grange Leisure Centre.  Have a go on the fun and interactive dance mats and sports wall. Booking can be made in advance but is not essential. Suitable for 8 year olds and upwards.

Children's Blood Thirsty Tour - Designed especially for children, this tour gives a thrilling insight into Lichfield's gory past - from burnings at the stake, through to executions, battles and bloodshed.

See The New Adventures of Puss in Boots at Lichfield Garrick Theatre. Watch Puss help his master win the hand of the beautiful princess, and become the richest man in the land. Music, magic and mayhem abound as this clever cat comes out on top. Tickets cost from £8.50 to £10, or £34 for a family ticket.

Check out what’s happening for kids at Erasmus Darwin House, there’s always plenty of things to keep the kids entertained. 

Check out the holiday clubs run by JC Academy, the activity camps are perfect to develop skills, with many fun sporting activities as well as arts & crafts. There is a wide range of activities for kids to take part in, all led by our qualified and CRB checked staff.  Activity camps run over the school holidays to develop children's skills in a variety of different sports, activities and crafts and are designed to develop your child's skills not only through sport but creativity too! 

If your kids want to be the next Lewis Hamilton they will need to start practising at Midland Karting book your kids in for a practice session during half term.
